Rotor Verification Vision System

Challenge: A customer was challenged with tracking individual gas turbine rotors throughout their facility, which resulted in costly shipping errors as rotors were being sent to incorrect global customers.

Solution: A system to verify and document that rotor identification codes match the process paperwork as rotors travel through facility and are shipped to customers which includes a custom software application and scanner. This solution ensures specific barcodes are printed and marked on each rotor and its Bill of Lading prior to shipping.

This system provides significant savings in shipping costs, handling labor, and delays for return trips.
